Out West AI / Yard Tally
Yard Tally Support
The basics
- Tap Start new draft, pick your stock type and 1–6 gates, and count a head with a tap. Use +5 / +10 for mobs moving fast, −1 or Undo to fix a slip.
- Yard Tally works fully offline — no signal, no account, no setup.
- Glove mode (oversized buttons) and sunlight mode (high contrast) are in the mode menu at the top right while counting.
- Pause and resume to split a session into runs — the summary shows each run's count, time, and rate.
Common questions
- Counting at more than one gate with a team? Each phone keeps its own tally. When you're done, one person taps Merge a count and scans the QR code the others show from their summary — no internet needed. The merged draft shows the combined total and a per-phone, per-gate breakdown.
- Counts not on your other devices? Yard Tally syncs through your own private iCloud. Check that both devices are signed in to the same Apple ID and that iCloud is enabled for Yard Tally in Settings. Sync needs a connection; counts made offline sync when you're back in range.
- Need a record? Open any count in History and export a PDF report or share the totals as text.
- Camera permission? It's requested only when you merge a team count, and is used only to read the QR code on the other phone.
