RF Modeller Privacy Policy

Effective 31 August 2026 · Applies to RF Modeller for Mac

The short version: RF Modeller collects nothing. It has no accounts and no servers of ours, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. Your projects are files on your own Mac.

What the app handles

What we collect

Nothing. The app contains no analytics or telemetry libraries, sets no identifiers, and has no server of ours to talk to. We cannot see your projects, your sites, your location, or even whether you use the app.

Network connections

The app connects only to the open-data sources it needs, and only when you compute coverage, pan the map or import towers: Geoscience Australia and Copernicus (elevation), ESA WorldCover (land cover), the ITU (digital maps), the ACMA (the Register of Radiocommunications Licences extract), and the basemap provider you have selected — Apple, the Queensland Government, Digital Earth Australia, Geoscience Australia, EOX, or Google if you supplied a key. These requests carry only the map area being fetched. All connections use TLS. There are no other network requests.

Purchases

The free trial and the one-off unlock are handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We never see your payment details; the app only asks StoreKit whether this Apple Account holds the trial or the full version.

Crash reports

We do not collect crash reports ourselves. If you have opted in to sharing analytics with Apple, Apple may provide us anonymised crash information under Apple's privacy policy.

Your data, your control

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Because the app collects nothing, changes are expected to be rare.
